Internet+Transport 2017: cybersecurity, innovations and digital technologies in transportation
The 2nd Internet+Transport International Conference and Exhibition will take place on October 10-11. It is Russia’s only event, devoted to integration of digital technologies into the transport industry. This year the Conference and Exhibition will be held for two days in Areal Hotel in the Moscow Region.
The 1st Internet+Transport International Conference and Exhibition took place in November 2016. This was a one-day event attended by more than 200 officials, experts and leading companies of the IT and transport sectors: the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, Moscow Government, Russian Railways, GLONASS JSC, Yandex, Mail.ru Group, Rambler, TransContainer, Ozon, X5 Retail group, Russian Post, TakeBus, UbiGo Innovations and others.
This year Internet+Transport will become even wider. The event will be held for two days. Its business programme will be expanded by adding new topics, such as blockchain and design thinking, but the conference’s main agenda will focus on the analysis of the digital technologies utilization in cargo transportation (international logistics and supply chain management), passenger sector (travel industry and urban transport), cybersecurity provision and promotion of innovations.
The content of the event will be enriched by presentations made by chief information officers of the 1520 space national railway companies and founders of the leading technology companies developing breakthrough solutions and services for the transport sector: iCanDeliver (cargo transportation aggregator), TruckerPath (app for long-distance truck drivers) and others.
Among the Internet+Transport conference delegates are software and control system developers, heads of transport and industrial enterprises, special equipment and components suppliers, representatives of federal and regional authorities, experts and researchers. At the close of the business programme all participants will be invited to join a bowling tournament and billiards.
The Internet+Transport conference will gather together leading Russian and international transport and IT experts in Moscow on November 8. Representatives from Rambler Co, Mail.Ru Group, UbiGo and others have been invited to attend.
